Chat agent

  • Conversational editing copilot inside Premiere Pro 2026 (UXP-native panel), with streaming responses and multi-turn planning.
  • BYOK providers: OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude) and Google Gemini — your key, stored in Premiere's secure storage.
  • Real timeline tools: snapshot/read, split, trim, move, ripple delete, markers, clip selection by query.
  • Plan preview before every destructive or batch operation; rejected plans change nothing.
  • Every confirmed plan applies as one undo step (CutPilot: <action>) and ends with a readable edit changelog.
  • Natural-language pipelines: chain silence cut, captions and export in a single request with one approval.

Silence cut

  • Local, deterministic silence detection via the CutPilot Helper — free, offline, no length caps on any plan.
  • Configurable threshold, minimum silence and padding; preview-as-markers mode before committing.
  • Filler-word and immediate-retake removal from the sequence transcript (native Premiere transcript preferred; no AI call needed).

Captions & transcript

  • Transcription through Premiere's native transcript, or via your OpenAI (Whisper) / Gemini key with automatic audio chunking for long footage.
  • Clean .srt output with a guided two-click import into Premiere's caption system.
  • Multi-language caption sets via an AI translation pass (Pro).

Effects & export

  • Curated effect/color preset library the agent applies with consistent parameters; automatic punch-in/zoom at cut points to hide jump cuts.
  • Video transitions by name (e.g. cross dissolve) from chat.
  • Export tools: configure and queue renders, frame export for thumbnails (Pro).

Helper & security

  • CutPilot Helper for macOS and Windows with bundled ffmpeg: audio extraction, silence detection, transcription chunking — all local.
  • Bound to 127.0.0.1 only, authenticated with a per-install token; graceful degradation when the helper is offline.
  • Cancellable long jobs with live progress in the panel.

  • 14-day full trial on first run — no card, no account.
  • Free tier: chat 20 messages/day, unlimited silence cut, 1-language captions on sequences up to 10 minutes, 5 starter presets.
  • One-time Pro license: unlimited everything, 12 months of updates, 2 seats, 14-day offline grace.
